About this vehicle

Introduced at the Bologna Motor Show in December 1995, the Diablo roadster represented yet another step in building some of the most outrageously styled cars ever made. To create the roadster, Lamborghini implemented a number of changes above and beyond just cutting the roof off. It was truly an engineering masterpiece. The car received a new front bumper, new driving and marker lights, a new windscreen that was more dramatically raked with new A-pillars, new doors and beveled glass, new cooling ducts, a new engine cover, new body air intakes, new exhaust covers with restyled exhaust pipes, a new rear bumper, new rear wheel arches and new 17-inch wheels. All told, the effort gave the roadster a very slippery look that recalled the sportiness of bygone era roadsters.
